FANHS OR + Malaya Movement Portland present BAYANI 2020: Honoring Our Heroes — a three part webinar series in observance of Filipino American History Month to celebrate our frontline workers, essential workers, activists and volunteers serving Oregon, SW Washington and the Philippines.
Save the date and join us the last three weekends in October and learn the rich history of Filipino Americans: past, present and future.
Each webinar will start at 6:30pm PT, and will be covering a different topic:
October 17th: Join us as we explore where we come from and honor our heroes that have brought us this far.
October 24th: Join us as we commemorate where we are now and how the Fil Am community comes together time and time again in the face of adversity.
October 31st: Join us as we step into the future and discuss where we go from here.
There will also be a RAFFLE with wonderful donations from some amazing local businesses. Winners will be chosen randomly based on registration and attendance for each event.
