The NW Filipino American Student Alliance (NWFASA) is holding their 24th annual conference hosted by Isang Bansang Pilipino at Oregon State University, celebrating a true milestone as NWFASA enters its 25th year anniversary as an organization!

In honor of such a significant year, the theme for this conference is “25 Years of TULAY – Thriving, Uniting, and Learning Across the Years.” With “tulay” meaning “bridge” in Tagalog, NWFASA hopes to center this conference around the idea of bridging not only the past, present, and future of the alliance, but bridging the diverse lived experiences of the Pilipino/a/x.

NWFASA is also excited to have actor and poet DANTE BASCO as well as kultural worker, creator and NWFASA alum LUANN ALGOSO join them as their keynote speakers this year! With their background in community organizing and the arts, they look forward to learning more from them about how to incorporate art and justice into the work they do to uplift our communities and share our stories.

IBP @ OSU looks forward to hosting this conference! They will be posting updates to their Facebook page so please make sure to check back frequently.
