OCTOBER 17, 24, & 31, 2020 – BAYANI 2020: HONORING OUR HEROES IN OBSERVANCE OF FILIPINO AMERICAN HISTORY MONTH

FANHS OR + Malaya Movement Portland presented BAYANI 2020: Honoring Our Heroes — a three part webinar series in observance of Filipino American History Month to celebrate our frontline workers, essential workers, activists and volunteers serving Oregon, SW Washington and the Philippines.

Each webinar part covered a different topic:

  • Part 1 on October 17th, 2020: Explore where we come from and honor our heroes that have brought us this far.
  • Part 2 on October 24th, 2020: Commemorate where we are now and how the Fil Am community comes together time and time again in the face of adversity.
  • Part 3 on October 31st, 2020: Step into the future and discuss where we go from here.
